Mixing Instructions
Proper hygiene, handling, and storage of EleCare® are important, especially when feeding an infant. Talk with your doctor about the need to use cooled boiled water for mixing, and the need to boil utensils, bottles, and nipples in water before use.
Mixing Instructions
Ask your doctor about the appropriate caloric density needed for your child.
To prepare one serving of EleCare:

Wash your hands, surfaces, and utensils. |

Pour desired amount of water into clean bottle (or other container). |

Add designated amount of powder to the container. Return dry scoop to can. |

Cap bottle or container; shake well for 15 to 20 seconds. |

Store in refrigerator for up to 24 hours if product is not fed immediately. Shake well before serving again. |

Once feeding begins, use within one hour or discard. |

Note: When measured, powder should be unpacked and level.
*EleCare powder may settle inconsistently. For more accurate results, EleCare powder should be weighed on a gram scale.
"Scoop" refers to enclosed scoop.

How to Store Prepared Formula
Immediately store prepared formula in refrigerator at 35°F to 40°F (2°C to 4°C) and use within 24 hours.
How to Store Unopened and Opened Cans
Store unopened cans at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures. Cover opened can and store in a cool, dry area (not in refrigerator). Use opened can contents within one month.
